DFLP claims responsibility for clashes in Johr Al-Deek

The National Resistance Brigades, the military wing of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP), announced on Tuesday their responsibility for the confrontations with Israeli forces southeast Gaza.
They said one of their groups clashed with Israeli troops with automatic weapons and RPGs, DFLP said in a statement.
Four Palestinians were injured by the Israeli gun fires at east of Johr Al-Deek, after targeting an Israeli tank with an anti-tank. Local radio stations said here the death of one Palestinian in the shelling.
"The option of resistance is a route to achieve our national rights," DFLP added.
On its part, Israeli army affirmed that it had targeted a group of Palestinian militants after they fired towards a military force on the border with the Gaza Strip.
Israeli army spokesperson told Israeli radio that the Israeli army continues to operate in the area where the clashes took place.
