The Lebanese army increased its level of alert on Monday after an Israeli bulldozer penetrated land in the western zone of the south of the country to dig a canal, according to the Lebanese news agency.
According to the report, the bulldozer stopped on the border in Israeli territory because of the increase in alertness.
UNIFIL forces arrived at the scene and stopped the bulldozer from carry out the works.
The IDF spokesperson unit reported that the bulldozer was carry out routine work that did not include crossing the border.
