Israeli helicopters target locations east of Rafah City

GAZA, Sept 2 (KUNA) -- Israeli helicopters targeted Thursday several locations east of Rafah City, south of the Gaza Strip, said Palestinian sources.
The sources told KUNA that Israeli Apache helicopters opened its heavy artillery on the already damaged Gaza Intentional Airport and several farming lands easy of Rafah.
The attacks did not result in any injures amongst Palestinians, noted the sources.
While situation is heating up on the ground level with Palestinian militants attacking Israeli settlers and Israelis carrying out operations against Palestinians, the leaders of the two sides, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, are embarking on face-to-face talks in Washington addressing the peace process in the region.
