Hamas: Israel’s bombing of Gaza civilian apartment tower “war crime”

GAZA, (PIC)-- Hamas has slammed on Saturday Israel’s strike on an 11-story apartment tower in Gaza city as a “war crime” and a “serious escalation”, because of which scores of Gaza civilians suffered critical wounds while dozens of others have gone homeless.
Hamas spokesperson Sami Abu Zuhri said Israeli claims that the tower housed a Hamas base are sheer “lies”.
A drove of Israeli fighter jets hit an 11-story-apartment tower in Gaza City, bringing the entire building to the ground on Saturday and leading to several wounds among dozens of Gaza civilians.
Remarkable damage was further detected among a number of Palestinian family homes adjacent to the tower.
At least 17 Palestinian civilians, mostly women and children, have been rushed to hospital while dozens are believed to have been lying beneath the mounds of pile into which the residential tower has been turned, Health Ministry spokesperson Ashraf al-Qudra reported.
The occupation warplanes destroyed another residential multi-story building in al-Shujai’ya, razing it entirely to the ground.
A round of Israeli rocket attacks knocked down on Saturday evening a commercial center comprising 80 shops and a large number of commercial and residential apartments in Rafah city, to the south of the Strip.
The wave of Israeli onslaughts culminated in the bombing of a nearby seven-story-building owned by Za’reb family.
At least 2,105 Palestinians were murdered while thousands sustained severe injuries in the ongoing Israeli aggression targeting besieged Gaza since July 7.
