#Jan25 #cairo #egypt #tahrir IMPORTANT RT PLAN OF ACTION: these are suggestions to get people on the ground thinking in terms of organisation, planning for eventualities & on how to consolidate position & move forward for victory:

1) need to get as many people to #tahrir sq asap from all over #cairo & #egypt – tell them to bring food, medication, clothes, cameras, phones with them & secure entrances to sq. When numbers sufficient, organize into groups & set-up rotas so that people can rest for SET TIMES with replacements awake to swap places after sleep & must eat so that they can REGAIN STRENGTH. Realise that you are now a resistance/revolutionary movement – you are the EGYPTIAN PEOPLE’S RESISTANCE movement/force, just as there was the resistance in Europe against Hitler’s Nazi regime during WWII.
2) create relatively large groups (numbers willing) where every individual has their role & where they will be most effective e.g: fittest strongest fighting at fronline, fastest/most nimble to relay with necessary provisions/weapons/info/food etc. also need eyes to lookout for oncoming trouble/attacks. Plan & BE PREPARED for ANY eventuality! This is a desperate regime ready to hold on at any price!
3) ask inhabitants of neighbouring buildings to requisition rooms/apartments for protestors to rest, eat, fend for the wounded, keep children/the old safe during attacks & for access to washing & toilet facilities. If no-one agrees, politely requisition anyway and promise compensation once revolution succeeds. Also, secure buildings & roofs around #tahrir sq so that govt. militias are not a threat. Collect possible weapons for defense & make others out of material from buildings/apartments.
4) next, secure streets bridges & quarter around tahrir square & try to assure any infiltrators are spotted (without paranoia taking hold)
5)By now you must have an idea who among you are able to play a temporary role as group leaders for next stage:
6) negotiate with any army soldiers present & explain how you are the Egyptian people which is the sovereign authority in the country. You have to be organized to do this &
7) gather very large group of people (i.e: thousands) & make way to television HQ & storm to get control of airwaves. Use whatever force needed. Will require tactics/notions of how to face militia groups/police (ask those there who have done military service to help).
8) Broadcast proof of regime’s violations to whole of Egypt. Ask journalist Shahira Amin who has resigned from Egyptian TV & is on tahrir sq as of Thursday 3rd February to present the new liberated Egyptian tv – call for every Egyptian citizen to liberate their country – that those in Cairo make way to tahrir sq & presidential palace to overthrow#Mubarak
9) opposition get politicians together to set-down principles for interim govt. – but they must respect the people’s will as this is the people’s revolution.
10) the army has to be told that it is in its own interest to support people or else they will forever lose any legitimacy (the new republic will not accept an army that turns on its people).
Ok, sounds nice on paper lol – these are basic ideas to work around – could take days or weeks which is why everyone must be as organized, determined & quick thinking as possible.
