Palestinians Protest in Solidarity with Gaza across the West Bank

RAMALLAH, November 15, 2012 (WAFA) – Palestinians across the West Bank Thursday demonstrated in solidarity with the people of Gaza, who are currently being under attack by Israeli military forces, which killed 13 Palestinians and injured more than 120.
The participants, who protested in several cities, including Ramallah and Nablus, flew banners and held up signs condemning the attack targeting the people of Gaza and calling for providing full protection for civilians.
PLO Executive committee member Wasil Abu Yusif said that the Arab world and international community must put an end to these crimes executed by Israel against innocent people.
Another PLO Executive committee member Tawfiq Tirawi called for a solid international position condemning the ongoing assault, pointing out that the Palestinian leadership is making serious efforts to end the assault on Gaza.
He said that the American position regarding the recent attacks confirm the American bias to Israel and its policies.
Meanwhile, General union of Palestinian committees in Europe condemned the attack and called on all Palestinian factions to unite and put all differences aside, in order to face the vicious Israeli attack against the people of Gaza.
It called on world countries to stand with the Palestinians and support them by voting in favor of the Palestinian bid to the United Nations.
