On Friday, July 25, an Israeli settler murdered a Palestinian teenager in the village of Huwwara, which lies approximately 10 km south of Nablus in the northern half of the West Bank. Two hours later, an Israeli sniper killed another Palestinian teenager in the same village. Full Story

On Friday, a draft of US Secretary of State John Kerry's ceasefire proposal was shown to Israeli officials. The draft apparently called for the opening of border crossings between Gaza and Israel and included measure to ensure "the economic livelihood" of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.Full Story

Update: Around 6 pm, another Palestinian was shot and killed by Israeli forces, this time in Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip. He has been identified as: Essam Ibrahim Abu Shab 42. This brings the total so far Sunday to 10 Palestinians killed - in what was claimed to be a period of 'ceasefire' until Monday, when Israel says that full-scale bombing will resume. Full Story
