The US House of Representatives voted unanimously to support a non-binding resolution to reaffirm full U.S. support for Israel’s “defense of its citizens” and condemning Palestinian “unprovoked rocket fire”. Palestinian medial sources in the Gaza Strip have reported that an additional ten Palestinian have been killed, Monday, in ongoing Israeli shelling and bombardment of various civilian areas in the besieged Gaza Strip. Two Palestinians were killed earlier on Monday. Full Story

According to Egyptian officials, a top US diplomat is scheduled to visit the region, in a joint effort to end a week of deadly violence in Gaza. He comes with a warning from Washington against any Israeli ground invasion of the Strip, AFP reports via Ma'an.
