Netanyahu rejects Kerry's ceasefire proposal
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected a draft ceasefire proposal made by US Secretary of State John Kerry.
In a number of interviews on American television this morning the Israeli premier has said the "only offer on the table is the Egyptian one".
Netanyahu said that financial aid for Gaza must be conditioned on the coastal enclave being disarmed. He said that donations meant for civilians are being used for military purposes.
