Senior political leader of Hamas and formerly one of two disputed Prime Ministers of the Palestinian National Authority, Ismail Haniyeh, declared that the Israeli Occupation Forces with all their military power have been losing the battle with the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip, for eight years now.
Haniyeh stressed that the conditions set by the Palestinian resistance are the absolute minimum in order to accept any ceasefire agreement with the Israeli government. He also added that the members of the Palestinian resistance are working for the Palestinian people, who have been suffering the Israeli occupation for more than 66 years. They will not stop fighting until they reach freedom for all the Palestinians.
On the other hand, Hamas announced this afternoon that ten of its members were killed today during an operation where they attacked a group of Israeli soldiers in military jeeps. Hamas reported in a press release that they killed all the soldiers in the jeeps in response to the Israeli massacre in Al-Shujaiyya neighborhood yesterday.
The Israeli media sources confirmed that five of its soldiers were killed in two operations today in the border of the Gaza Strip.
