Oxfam Ireland calls on Israel to lift Gaza blockade

Calls have been made for the international community to put pressure on Israel to lift the seven-year blockade on Gaza.
Oxfam Ireland says the territory is on the verge of a major health crisis, unless clean water and food supplies can be allowed in.
A 72-hour truce between Hamas and Israel is entering its second day as talks get underway in Cairo on a more permanent ceasefire.
Oxfam Ireland Communications Officer Alan McDonald - who is in Jerusalem - says dozens of wells, pipelines and reservoirs have been destroyed, leaving fresh water contaminated with raw sewage.
