Libya Latest .. 50 tanks are bombarding Al-Zawiyah

18:11 Heavy clashes at the borders of Ban Jwad. Revolutionaries moved to ban Jwad after noon and have been shelled with heavy artillery that they have been shelled with before. Tens of injured arriving at Ras Lanouf in Bin Jwad
1812 More than 20 injured so far in Ras Lanouf. The majority in critical condition. We cannot accept more than 5 cases in one go.
1813 Our medical teams are split into 5 teams. Each team is working on one case. Each time has a surgeon, an anaesthetist.
1813 We are in a difficult condition right now! If this type of bombardment continues, we will NOT be able to support the newly injured whatosoever.
1814 We are still suffering from medical supplies. This hospital resides in a small town. We are not a city. Ras Lanuf is not a city.
1814 The majority of medical supplies have come from the cititzens of Libya
1815 We we receive serious cases that we cannot handle, we send them east to Ajdabiya which is 200km away!
1816 We are fearing for our safety as we are the only medical team here
1816 We received cases where the injured have had whole body parts blown off
18:07 BBC Witnesses said a five-year-old child was among the dead in Zawiya, reportedly killed when militia burst into the house to put snipers on the roof.
18:06 Sky News reports that eye witnesses say approximately 50 tanks are bombarding Al-Zawiyah. Buildings and mosques have been completely crushed according to witnesses.
