An Israeli soldier mans the checkpoint outside the Israeli settlement inside the Palestinian city of Hebron in the southern West Bank (Brendan Work, PNN).
Secure sources told Palestinian official news wire Wafa that the troops attacked the area of al-Karmel, east of Yatta and arrested Mohammed Mousa al-Haroush, 60. He was taken to an unknown location.
Other troops raided the South Hebron Hills town of Idhna and the Kharsa triangle, as well as several neighborhoods in the city of Hebron.
Near Bethlehem, Israeli forces arrested three men from the town of Tuqu’. A secure local source said soldiers arrested Sulaiman Khaled al-Amour, 19, Ibrahim Yousif Abu Mofreh and Mohammed Ahmed Abu Mofreh, ages unknown.
In Gaza, two citizens were injured in Israeli airstrikes in the northern city of Beit Lahiya.
A witness said that F16 Israeli aircrafts targeted a group of citizens with one missile in the al-Sudaniya neighborhood, which has recently been the site of increased Israeli military activity. Another injury was reported in the al-Tufah neighborhood, east of Gaza city.
