OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested at dawn Tuesday 27 young men from occupied Jerusalem for their participation in protests against Israeli aggression on Gaza.
Spokeswoman for the Israeli police confirmed this morning that 457 Jerusalemites were arrested since early June.
Meanwhile, a state of tension prevailed in al-Aqsa Mosque after Israeli forces prevented the access of Palestinian women and men under 50 years into its courtyards.
Along the same line, 34 arrests were reported Tuesday in occupied West Bank and Jerusalem including a 16-year-old boy and a disabled citizen who was injured few months ago during clashes with Israeli forces.
Human rights sources revealed that Israeli forces stormed today Jenin, Nablus, al-Khalil, and Bethlehem in the West Bank and raided a number of houses which led to the outbreak of violent clashes.
Israeli soldiers fired rubber bullets and tear gas bombs at Palestinian youths before arresting a number of them.
