Extremist Jewish Groups Storm Al-Aqsa Compound

JERUSALEM, September 4, 2011 (WAFA) – Israeli police reinforcements Sunday allowed extremist Jewish groups and Israeli forces under its protection into al-Aqsa Mosque compound, one of Islam’s holiest sites, in Jerusalem’s Old City, said al-Aqsa guards.

Some of the guards told WAFA that small groups of extremist Jews, accompanied by Israeli police, entered al-Aqsa mosque compound and roamed the holy site.

A number of Arabs living in Jerusalem and Israel were stationed in the compound to face any extremists’ attempts to perform Talmudic rituals and ceremonies in the mosques’ courtyards, added the guards.

Arabs usually respond to Jewish extremists and Israeli police by chanting Islamic cheers, causing confusions among the extremists who call Israeli forces to threaten and arrest the Arabs.
