Israeli soldiers open fire at vehicle and turn it over, father and his daughter injured

Israeli soldiers opened fire Saturday morning at a Palestinian vehicle on Taqou’a road South East of Bethlehem in which the vehicle turned over. Arrests have been reported, said the Maan News agency correspondent.

“The Israeli military soldiers pursued the vehicle on Taqou’a Main Street which links Southern settlements of the West Bank as well as links Hebron to Ramallah, and they opened fire at the vehicle while the driver of the car was hit to an irregular military checkpoint. The car turned over and a father and his daughter (17years old) were arrested after being injured,” eye-witnesses told the Maan reporter.

The witnesses added that the arrested people are from the town of Doura, Hebron.

Israel and Palestinian ambulances raced to the scene, the whereabouts of the arrested persons is still known.

In addition, eye-witnesses said that settlers of Maale Amos settlement, built on the lands of Taqou’a town, opened fire at several shepherd in the town of Kisan, next to Taqou’a village. No injuries were reported.

Saturday afternoon, dozens of settlers stormed the town of Bourin south of city of Nablus. They smashed a vehicle glass.

Dozens of settlers of Itisahar settlement, south of Nablus, attacked civilians at the gate of the town of Bourin and pelted them with stones and smashed glasses of some vehicles passing by, witnesses told Maan.

According to the witnesses, Israeli military patrols reached the place and fired teargas stun grenades. No injuries have been reported so far.
