Clashes and arrests reported in OJ, West Bank - Palestine

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- Dozens of Palestinian youths were injured on Tuesday during violent clashes that erupted in different areas of occupied Jerusalem.
Clashes erupted in Sawana neighborhood when a group of youths tried to have access into one of the settlements in the area.
Violent clashes also broke out in Silwan where Israeli forces fired rubber bullets at angry protestors. A number of injuries were reported.
Similar confrontations were reported in Jabal Makaber neighborhood when Israeli settlers stormed the neighborhood.
On the other hand, Israeli forces stormed Issawia neighborhood where they started firing tear gas bombs at the residents, which led to the outbreak of clashes.
In a related context, clashes erupted at a military checkpoint to the entrance of Shufat refugee camp when Israeli forces suppressed a solidarity march organized in support of Gaza.
Meanwhile, confrontations were reported on Tuesday between Palestinian youths and Israeli forces near Qalandia airport in occupied Jerusalem.
Israeli forces heavily fired rubber bullets at the Palestinian youths who in their turn stoned the soldiers stationed along the Apartheid Wall in the occupied city. No injuries were reported.
In Jenin, Israeli forces stormed late Tuesday and till dawn Wednesday a number of towns in Jenin which led to the outbreak of clashes.
Eyewitness told the PIC reporter that five Israeli patrols broke into three towns, south of Jenin, and randomly fired tear gas, sound bombs, and rubber bullets towards Palestinians who responded by throwing stones and fireworks.
A 19-year-old young man was moderately injured during the clashes and transferred to hospital after being shot in his stomach, while several others suffered breathing problems after inhaling tear gas.
