GAZA, November 5, 2011 (WAFA) – Israeli soldiers Saturday shot and injured a Palestinian farmer east of the Gaza Strip, according to witnesses.
They said soldiers stationed on the borders with Gaza randomly open fire at Palestinians and farmers near the former settlement of Nahal Oz.
The soldiers injured Mohammad Hamad, 23, spreading panic and forcing farmers to leave their land for fear of more attacks.
Hamad was shot in the leg and reported in moderate condition.
