Turkish medical aid arrives in Gaza

GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- The first shipment of Turkish medical aid arrived Thursday at the ministry of health through the Kerem Shalom crossing, a local health official said.

Ashraf Al-Qidra said the convoy contains eight truckloads of equipment and medicine.

He thanked, in the name of the minister of health, the Turkish leadership and Teka Turkish institute, and praised the support of Turkey to Gaza especially to the health sector which contributes in alleviating pressure on the ministry.
