Government condemns settler crimes, Ahrar calls for freeing resistance:

GAZA,(PIC)-- The Palestinian government strongly condemned the settlers' crime of killing two youths in al-Khalil and called to prosecute them, while Ahrar Movement demanded the PA stops pursuing the resistance in the occupied West Bank to enable it to confront and put an end to the Zionist attacks.
The Palestinian government spokesman, Taher al-Nunu, said in a statement, on Sunday evening June 17, that the crime of settlement, which is considered by the international law a war crime, must end immediately and that the international community's bodies have to take immediate action in this regard and to stop its policy of double-dealing with region's issues.
The government called for halting the security coordination with the Zionist enemy and prosecuting the settlers, instead, for their ongoing string of crimes of demolition of buildings, burning of plantations and terrorizing the Palestinian citizens.
The government warned that the city of Jerusalem is witnessing the most serious Judaization onslaught that threatens its present as well as its future, which requires hard work to save it and restore its Islamic identity.
It also stressed that the holy sites in and around Al-Aqsa Mosque do not only belong to the Palestinians, but they also belong to all the people of the Islamic world. Thus, restoring Jerusalem and its holy places is the legitimate duty of all Muslims.
For its part the Palestinian Ahrar Movement called in a statement on Sunday June 17 for freeing the resistance and to stop pursuing it in the occupied West Bank to enable them to confront and put an end to the attacks of the Zionist settlers.
The movement said: "The Zionist criminality is still ongoing at all levels against the Palestinian people", describing the settlers' recent crime of murdering two citizens and wounding a third as "a new crime in the series of the heinous crimes, that are committed by settlers who have been equipped with the latest weapons to wreak havoc in the occupied West Bank."
Ahrar also stressed that the weapons of the resistance are legitimate weapons used by the resistance to defend the Palestinian people and repel the occupier's aggression, emphasizing on the Palestinians' right to defend themselves and their homeland.
It is noted that a Zionist settler killed two Palestinians - Naeem salama al-Najjar, 34, from Idna village in Al-Khalil, and Anwar Abed Rabbo, 27, a resident of Yata- and wounded another.
