Palestinian female prisoners protest medical neglect

RAMALLAH, (PIC)-- Palestinian female prisoners in the Israeli Sharon jail have affirmed that they were boycotting the prison’s clinic out of protest at medical neglect.
They asked for a Red Cross visit to them to get acquainted with their harsh incarceration conditions.
The prisoners told a lawyer for the Palestinian prisoner’s association during a visit to them on Sunday that they wanted a professional doctor in the prison’s clinic.
They complained that no visits were made to them on the part of the Red Cross ever since the prisoners’ exchange deal was concluded.
They also said that no messages from relatives or books were made available to them by the Red Cross since that date.
