Child injured by military vehicle in Hebron

HEBRON (Ma’an) -- A nine-year-old boy was injured when he was struck by an Israeli military vehicle in Hebron's Old City late Monday, a medics said.

Ahmad Yahya Abu Rajab was hospitalized with fractures to his hand, but is in a stable condition, the head of disaster unit in the Red Crescent Society in the southern West Bank Nasser Kabajja told Ma'an.

An Israeli military spokeswoman said the incident involved Israeli Border Police, and a police spokesman said he was looking into the report.
