Radwan calls for defending Al-Aqsa

GAZA, (PIC)-- A leader in Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" warned the Zionist entity from provoking the feelings of Arabs and Muslims through falsifying the facts about Jerusalem and al Aqsa Mosque, calling on the Palestinian resistance to defend the Islamic sanctities.
Yehuda Weinstein, the Israeli government's adviser, said in broadcast remarks that Al-Aqsa Mosque and its surroundings are integral to Israeli territory and thus under Israeli Law, especially the planning and building law.
Dr. Ismail Radwan, a leader in Hamas Movement told "Quds Press" agency that: "weinstein's serious statements demonstrate the aggressive intentions against al-Aqsa mosque, provoke the feelings of Muslims and aim at reversing the truths, falsifying the history and obliterating the Islamic landmarks of the Islamic civilization in Jerusalem."
Hamas' leader also considered that the visits made by some Arab and Muslim figures to the Holy City give cover for the occupation and give it legitimacy to continue in its aggression against the Palestinian people.
For his part, Sheikh Ikrima Sabri, head of the Supreme Islamic Council in Jerusalem, told Quds Press agency on Tuesday that "the remarks of the Zionist government's advisor are unacceptable, because they will lead to a direct intervention in the powers of the Islamic Waqf," stressing that Muslims will always be protecting and defending al Aqsa Mosque because this "is a part of their faith".
Meanwhile, Al Aqsa Mosque preacher warned of the Israeli intervention in the affairs of the mosque, noting that the occupation is provoking events in order to justify its interference in the affairs of al Aqsa.
