GAZA, (PIC)-- A worker was injured and two others have gone missing after waste water was pumped into a tunnel used to smuggle badly needed commodities into the Gaza Strip from Egypt.
Civil defense teams are searching for the missing tunnel workers, the Gaza higher committees for emergencies said, adding that the sewage was let in abruptly from the Egyptian side.
Ever since Israel imposed a siege on the Gaza Strip, 197 Palestinian workers have been killed and 583 were left injured in incidents in tunnels used to get necessary goods into the Strip.
