Lama El Khateep is a 4-year-old girl from Khan Younis that was recently diagnosed with bilateral hearing loss. Due to her families concerns about her hearing, Lama was given an Auditory Brainstem Response evaluation in Gaza, where they diagnosed her bilateral hearing loss and indicated that Lama will need to start wear hearing aids. The total cost of the hearing aids is $1,500, which her family cannot afford.
