IOF soldiers detain 8 Palestinians

RAMALLAH, (PIC)-- Israeli occupation forces (IOF) rounded up eight Palestinian citizens during incursions into four provinces in the West Bank at dawn Monday.
IOF sources said that two Palestinians were arrested in Salfit, two in Azzun town to the east of Qalqilia, three in Al-Khalil, and one in Silwad village near Ramallah.
They said that the detainees would be interrogated on suspicion of involvement in anti-Israeli resistance operations.
Local sources said that IOF soldiers stormed the village of Nabi Saleh, west of Ramallah, at dawn Monday and deployed on entrances and in streets of the village.
They said that the soldiers broke into many houses and terrorized women and children, adding that the soldiers warned the villagers against continuing in their weekly anti wall marches or else face daily storming, arrests, and other “severe measurers”.
The sources noted that the soldiers recorded the storming of Palestinian homes without giving a reason for the act, adding that the IOF soldiers have recently escalated their attacks on the village and arrests of its inhabitants.
