Parliamentary delegations from 17 countries arrive in Tehran - Trend

Parliamentary delegations from 17 countries arrive in Tehran - Trend: Parliamentary speakers from five countries as well as delegations from 12 other countries arrived in Tehran until Friday afternoon to attend the 5th International Conference on Palestinian Intifada, IRNA reported.

Nabih Berri, Usama al-Nujeify, and Abdul Rauf Ibrahimi Parliament Speakers from Lebanon, Iraq and Afghanistan as well as Speaker of Qatar's Advisory Council Mohamed bin Mubarak al-Kholeifi have arrived in Tehran so far.

Also, Indonesian parliament speaker, former Tanzanian president, former Iraqi Prime Minister Ebrahim Ja'fari as well as delegations from Zimbabwe, Malawi, Bangladesh, Oman, Algeria, Bolivia, Kyrgyzstan, Poland, Denmark, Canada and Pakistan have entered Tehran.
The 5th International Conference on Palestinian Intifada kicks off its 2-day work from Saturday October 1, 2011 here in Tehran.

The motto of the conference is ' Palestine is Palestinian homeland.'

Secretary General of the conference Hossein Sheikholeslam has said that 16 parliamentary speakers and 8 deputy speakers from different countries have declared their readiness to attend the meeting.
