Jewish settlers attack Palestinian village, steal sheep herd

RAMALLAH, (PIC)-- Jewish settlers attacked Janiya village, near Ramallah city, in a pre-dawn raid on Sunday, damaged the car of a citizen and wrote racist slogans on the walls of his house.

The citizen, Ismail Madhloum, said in a press statement that the settlers entered his home’s yard, which is about 300 meters from the separation wall, at around 0100 am Sunday and fled after damaging his car’s tires and writing the insulting slogans.

He said that the slogans insulted Prophet Mohammed and Palestinians while other slogans read “Price Tag”.

Madhloum charged the Israeli occupation soldiers with allowing the settlers to enter into the village through the separation wall’s gate, which is controlled by them.

The settlers escalated their “Price Tag” campaign after the prisoners exchange deal between Israel and Hamas, and attacked and burnt mosques and assaulted citizens and their property in the West Bank.

In another incident, an armed settler robbed the sheep herd of a Palestinian shepherd in Dhaheria, south of al-Khalil, on Saturday.

Iyad Abu Sharkh said that the settler robbed 200 sheep heads from his uncle south of the village and forced him to leave his land under gun threat.
