GAZA, (PIC)-- Ahmed Davut Oglu, the Turkish Foreign Minister, asserted that his country will support the Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank until the end of the occupation. This came during Oglu's participation in the meeting of the Arab foreign ministers who visited the Gaza with the Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh. He said: "Turkey will continue to support the Palestinian people in Gaza, in the West Bank and Jerusalem, until the end of the Israeli occupation, and the establishment of a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital." He added, addressing Haniya and the people of Gaza that no matter how Israel tries to justify its acts, the history and the human conscience will never forgive it. The Turkish Foreign Minister also addressed the resistance fighters asserting that "the unity of the Arabs and Muslims will continue until the end of the injustices against the Gaza Strip." He renewed his country's calls to lift the siege on Gaza, stressing on the need not to allow the Israeli entity turn Gaza into an open-air prison. "We will continue in the common struggle with Arab countries until lifting the siege imposed on the Strip", Oglu asserted. |
