HEBRON, January 14, 2013 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Monday demolished two residential sheds, an animal barn and two shacks used for agricultural purposes in the West Bank city of Hebron, according to a local activist.
The Popular Committee Coordinator in Yatta, Rateb al-Jabour, told WAFA that a large Israeli military force and police, accompanied by a staff from the civil administration, raided Khirbet al-Hathaleen, a locale east of Yata, closed off the area and demolished a residential shed that houses 12 family members, mostly children, in addition to an animal barn.
Meanwhile, forces raided Howara area, east of Yata, and demolished a 150-square-meter residential shed that houses a family of 12, leaving them without a shelter during the cold winter weather, in addition to two other shacks used for agricultural purposes and destroyed almost tens of dumuns planted with wheat and barley.
