Mohamed Kamel Ali Amr, Egypt's Minister for Foreign Affairs, addressed the UN General Assembly on Saturday, and said that Cairo supports the Palestinian bid for statehood. He urged the UN's support for the bid and called for a "just peace based on the two-states solution."
Amr criticized Israel from disregarding the international community's demand to cease settlement expansion, and what he called Israel's infractions of international law.
