Israel National News: The Samaria Regional Council and the Binyamin Residents' Council will distribute thousands of Israeli flags and Council flags in Judea and Samaria over the next week, as a response to the Palestinian Authority's plan to declare the areas an Arab state. Binyamin Council head Avi Ro'eh said that the flag distribution would give the region the character of Yom Ha'atzmaut, “and show the world that we are here. There is nothing better at this time to hang flags all along the roads in Yesha, so that Jewish residents and Arabs can see them.”
The flags will be distributed at the entrance of towns in Judea and Samaria, and at major intersections in the region.
