Israeli Soldiers Arrest Two Students from School in Hebron

HEBRON, September 18, 2011 (WAFA) – Israeli soldiers Sunday arrested two students from the Abrahamic school, in the old city of Hebron, according to Hebron directorate of Education.

It told WAFA that Israeli soldiers stationed at Tal’a Abu Hadid checkpoint, which leads to the school, arrested Husam Abu Snini, 12, and Amjad Abu Snini, 13.

Head of Hebron directorate of Education, Nisreen Amro condemned the Israeli arbitrary measures against Palestinian students.

She called on international and local organizations to gather efforts in order to protect the educational staff and students in Palestinian schools.

Director of the Palestinian Prisoners’ club (PPC) in Hebron, Amjad Najjar said that there is an intended and clear policy of targeting Palestinian students by the Israeli occupation.
