Settlers Try to Raid Yabad Town, South of Jenin

JENIN, September 20, 2011 (WAFA) – Settlers from ‘Mabo Dotan’ settlement tried on Tuesday to raid Yabad town, south east of Jenin, according to security sources.

Sources told WAFA that a group of settlers from ‘Mabo Dotan’ settlement, located on the lands of Yabad, gathered on the military checkpoint set south of the town, and tried to sneak into it through the olive groves.

They added that the Israeli forces went after them and tried to stop them from raiding the town, closed the main street, which connects it to the surrounding residential areas and reinforced their military presence in the area.
