RAMALLAH, March 10, 2012 (WAFA) - Secretary of the PLO Executive Committee, Yasser Abed Rabbo, Saturday told Voice of Palestine radio that the Palestinian leadership is exerting all effort to curb the Israeli escalation in the Gaza strip.
The Egyptian government also held Israel accountable for violating the truce in Gaza, calling on the Israeli government to immediately stop its escalated aggression on Gaza.
The Egyptian ambassador to the Palestinian Authority, Yasser Othman, told voice of Palestine radio that Egypt is exerting all effort to contain the situation in Gaza, adding that the ongoing calls made to restore the truce may take a while due to the tense situations on the ground.Palestine News & Info Agency
