Settlers Uproot, Steal Olive Trees near Bethlehem

 BETHLEHEM, March 8, 2012 (WAFA) – Israeli settlers Thursday uprooted and stole Olive trees from a land that belongs to Palestinians in Umm el-Fahem area near Bethlehem, according to witnesses.

The land’s owner told WAFA that he was shocked to wake up this morning and find around 230 Olive trees uprooted and stolen from his land.

He said, “I and other farmers have received a threat from a group of settlers accompanied by Israeli soldiers, after they raided our land and confiscated our equipments as well as 100 Olive trees, which we were planning to plant that day.”
