Hamas warns of IOA plan to change the status quo inside the Aqsa

 

(PIC)-- Hamas movement warned the Israeli occupation authority (IOA) over the serious consequences of changing the status quo in the Aqsa mosque.

The movement said in a statement on Sunday that "any Israeli attempt to change the status quo inside the Aqsa mosque, as what was on forced on the Ibrahimi mosque before, would have catastrophic outcomes."

"The mere thought of taking such a step represents a flagrant violation of the Aqsa mosque's sanctity and Islamic holy sites, and a hopeless attempt to judaize the mosque", Hamas added.

It also called on the Palestinian factions, the Palestinian people, and all those with living conscience to declare firm rejection to this plan and to take effective action to prevent it by all means.

The Islamic resistance movement urged the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Arab League to exert pressure to prevent the occupation from implementing its plan.
