AL-KHALIL, (PIC)-- West Bank youth group against political summonses and arrests said prisoner Nidal Abu Sunaina started hunger strike for indefinite days following his arrest yesterday by the Palestinian Authority preventive security forces in Al-Khalil city.
The youth group stated in a press release that the PA preventive security forces kidnapped Abu Sunaina from his house after he refused to comply with a summons for interrogation.
In another incident, political ex-detainee Samer Matar, from Idna town in Al-Khalil, said the PA preventive security forces stormed the house of his family twice in order to arrest him during the holy month of Ramadan.
Matar added that the preventive security summoned him for interrogation last Saturday, but he refused to go to their headquarters.
According to the ex-detainee, a PA officer told his family that the summons was issued against him because of his participation in the student sit-in inside Al-Khalil university.
Another student named Abdulhadi Musalma, from Al-Khalil city, also declined a summons for interrogation from the PA security forces.
