SALFIT (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces on Monday blocked off two dirt roads used by farmers in Salfit, officials news agency Wafa reported.
The mayor of Salfit village Deir Istiya told Wafa that soldiers escorted a bulldozer to the roads, which were then blocked with earth and rocks.
Blocking access to the Wadi Abu Nasser and Qattan al-Jami roads will prevent farmers from accessing large areas of fields and pastures in the western part of Deir Istiya village, Nathmi Salman said.
Israeli forces have now closed six roads in Deir Istiya, he added.
