Al-Kahlawi: civil society in Tunisia will respond to Israeli aggression

TUNIS, (PIC)-- The head of the National Association to support Arab resistance in Iraq and Palestine, Ahmed al-Kahlawi, stated that the assassination of the leader of the Qassam Brigades, Ahmed al-Jabari on Wednesday represents a serious Israeli escalation that requires a strong response from the resistance.
al-Kahlawi told Quds Press that the Tunisian civil society will not stand idly towards the Palestinian issue, since only two days we finished conference to advocate the Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails, and we have established an office to defend the Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails and created a site for the same purpose.
The dangerous aggression by targeting one of the resistance's leaders was expected especially after the Israeli and American threats in the previous period, he added.
Regarding the Tunisian civil society organizations' reaction, al-Kahlawi condemned the Israeli crime, saying that popular demonstrations will be launched throughout Tunisian cities protesting against the Israeli brutal aggression.
Al-Kahlawi called on Palestinians to unite to confront the Israeli aggression. "We call on the Palestinian factions to return to the battlefield, and we call on Oslo group to retreat its anti-resistance policy, and we call not only for a third uprising but also for a popular confrontation against the continuous Israeli aggression, and to work to achieve a real Palestinian unity on the ground," he added.
