Anonymous comes to Palestine's aid in face of Israel

Anonymous has responded to the attacks launched upon Palestine by Israeli forces with 'Operation Israel'.
The hacking collective has already taken down and defaced a number of Israeli websites, but, as it has announced on Twitter, "Taking down websites is not a priority at the moment. Ensuring internet access to get information out of Gaza is the #1 priority."
In an entry on AnonPaste, the group adds, "For far too long, Anonymous has stood by with the rest of the world and watched in despair the barbaric, brutal and despicable treatment of the Palestinian people in the so called 'Occupied Territories' by the Israel Defense Force... But when the government of Israel publicly threatened to sever all Internet and other telecommunications into and out of Gaza they crossed a line in the sand."
Currently, http://advocate-israel.com, http://falcon-s.co.il, http://danybarshay.co.il/home_page and http://www.filtuna.co.il, amongst others, lie under Anonymous' control as part of Operation Israel.
The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) website was temporarily taken down yesterday, but has since been restored. Additionally, the hacktivists are developing documents, such as the "Anonymous Gaza Care Package," containing Arabic and English translations of survival information and guidelines on how to evade IDF surveillance and stay connected.
"To the people of Gaza and the "Occupied Territories", know that Anonymous stands with you in this fight," continued Anonymous. "We will use all our resources to make certain you stay connected to the Internet and remain able to transmit your experiences to the world."
