BETHLEHEM
(Ma'an) -- Dozens of Palestinians were injured and at least 10 arrested
on Saturday during West Bank demonstrations against Israeli attacks on
the Gaza Strip, according to eyewitness reports.
In Nablus, four people were injured and eight arrested when Israeli soldiers and protesters clashed near Huwwara checkpoint. Ahmad Suboh suffered serious head injuries and was transferred to Rafidya hospital in Nablus for treatment.
Tariq al-Tamimi, Ayoub Ayoub, Raeouf al-Hawari, Khair al-Din Barham, and Yara Khalieh were named as five of the eight people detained by Israeli forces.
Seventeen people were injured, including four seriously wounded, when Israeli soldiers clashed with protesters outside Ofer prison.
Protesters marched from Bir Zeit university to the Israeli jail, where Israeli forces fired live bullets, tear gas, and rubber bullets.
Esra Hdabh was hit by a tear gas canister on the back of her head and underwent emergency surgery at a nearby medical center.

Muhammad Ghassan was also hit in the head by a tear gas canister, Muhammad Kabbajh was hit in the eye by a rubber bullet, and Fadi al-Badawi was hit once in each foot with live ammunition.
In Beit Ummar, Abu Ayyash suffered a broken foot when an Israeli soldier fired a tear gas canister at him from around 35 meters during a protest, a local committee said.
Villagers had organized a march in solidarity with Gaza and against Israeli polices of aggression and house demolitions.
Soldiers fired tear gas at the demonstrators with many suffering smoke inhalation.
In the Nablus village of Urif, Ahmed Samir and Suleiman Mahmoud al-Safadi were arrested during clashes with settlers.
