Home Front Defense Minister Avi Dichter commented on the escalation in the south, saying that "We have no other choice; Israel must perform a reformatting of Gaza, and rearrange it, as we did in Judea and Samaria during Operation Defensive Shield."
According to Dichter, that is the only way to reestablish military deterrence in Gaza. (Yoav Zitun)
