BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Clashes broke on out on Sunday between students and Israeli soldiers in the Bethlehem village of Tuqu, Ma'an's reporter said.
Students in the village had organized a march to commemorate the death of late president Yasser Arafat, and threw stones at Israeli soldiers who were positioned at the entrance to the village.
Soldiers fired tear gas and rubber bullets in response and later clashed with students in the center of the village.
