Israeli Strikes Raise Death Toll Up to 6 in Gaza

 GAZA, November 11, 2012 (WAFA) – Medical sources Sunday reported that a Palestinian was killed during an Israeli airstrike that targeted Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip, raising the death toll to six in total.

Twenty-year-old Muhammad Obeid was killed in an airstrike that targeted a group of Palestinians, injuring few others; one of them is in critical condition.

Meanwhile, Muhammad Shkoukani, 20, died of his wounds on Saturday night in al-Shifa hospital after he was hit during an airstrike on northwest of Gaza.

Local sources reported that Israeli forces fired several shells directly at houses in East of Shijaia neighborhood in Gaza on Saturday, killing Ahmed Dardasawi, 18, Mohamed Osama, 16, Matar Abu Atta, and Mohamed Harara, and injuring more than 25 Palestinians.
They said that more than 30 Palestinians were injured; 10 of them are in critical condition.
To be noted, four Israeli soldiers were injured on Saturday when a Palestinian shell targeted an Israeli patrol at karni crossing; one of the injuries reported critical.
