Qassam Brigades: We downed an Israeli warplane west of central Gaza

GAZA, (PIC)-- Hamas's armed wing Al-Qassam Brigades said it shot down on Friday evening an Israeli warplane with a surface-to-air missile. In a communiqué, Al-Qassam Brigades added that that the warplane fell west of the central Gaza Strip where a search was conducted to look for the wreckage and the bodies of the pilots. It noted that other Israeli warplanes intensively bombed the area where the jet fighter fell to prevent the resistance from approaching the scene. Later, the Israeli army also announced officially that it lost contact with two pilots who were bombing Palestinian targets in Gaza. There is yet no confirmation of the news from a third party.
