RAMALLAH, (PIC)-- The Israeli army expressed fears against the raging protests against Salam Fayyad's government in the West Bank and of their escalation into a third intifada (uprising) against Israel.
According to the Israeli website Wella, these Israeli fears are growing despite the reassurances sent by the Palestinian authority and its security forces in the West Bank.
Israel fears that these protests could be one day out of control reaching its settlements and the areas under its administration, the website stated.
It also noted that the Israeli army is following up and analyzing any developments that could lead these protest to get out of its context.
