SALFIT, January 3, 2012 (WAFA) – Israeli authorities Tuesday handed notices to landowners in Iskaka, a village in the Salfit area, north of the West Bank, that they plan to seize 169 dunums of their land for the expansion of the settlement of Ariel and to build the Apartheid Wall, according to a local official.
Samir Haris, head of Iskaka village council, said the land in question is located north, south and west of the village, which means the village would lose a large area of its agricultural land for the benefit of Ariel.
