NABLUS (Ma’an) -- Israeli forces detained at least 14 Palestinians across the West Bank early Tuesday, officials said.
Witnesses told Ma'an that soldiers seized two Palestinian students as they tried to cross a flying checkpoint near Osarin village, south of Nablus. The students were named as Aasim Snober and Abdul-Minim Snober from nearby village of Yatma.
Locals also reported that Israeli forces erected flying checkpoints at the main entrances to the villages of Beita and Burin south of Nablus.
An Israeli army spokeswoman said one person was detained near Yatma, and forces apprehended 13 other Palestinians across the West Bank overnight, who were "taken for security questioning."
A joint Israeli army and police operation in Yatta, south of Hebron, seized four Palestinians after ammunition, two knives and nine stolen vehicles were found in their possession, she said.
