One of those abducted was a minor, 17-year old Bahaa Mansour, who was taken from his home in Deir Istiya, a village in the northern West Bank.

Also taken from Deir Istiya were Jihad Khaled, 26, Issam Mansour, 18, who were taken from their homes while they were sleeping, according to the Mayor of the village, Nathmi Salman.

In an invasion of the village of Azzun, near Qalqilia in the northern West Bank, Israeli troops abducted nine Palestinians in the early morning hours. According to a report by the Ma’an News Agency, four of the men were released later in the day and claimed that they had been beaten by the soldiers while they were detained.

There were unconfirmed reports of other abductions by Israeli troops in Beit Ummar, Yatma, Awarta, Al-Arrub and Qalandiya villages in the West Bank.

Israeli invasions of Palestinian towns and villages are a nightly occurrence in the West Bank, and Israeli troops frequently abduct Palestinians from their homes in the middle of the night and take them to unknown destinations.
